The Fondazione Ragghianti proposes the updated catalogue of its scientific production, a popular mean which represents the synthesis of about 27 years of activity. Skimming the list of the publications, from the catalogues of the several exhibitions, to the studies, the researches, the Luk magazine, we can see the clear adherence to the wishes and expectations of Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti. He saw in the Centro Studi, the most qualified instrument for promoting a more and more popular knowledge of art, and specially of contemporary art –and for promoting an historiography analysis of the peculiarity of the figurative production in Lucca and in the north-west Tuscany, as a model of research to be applied in a wider range. Consistently with the Ragghianti’ s lesson which conceived the “ visual arts” as parts of an articulate but sole world which included several artistic expressions, each one with its own specific linguistic apparatus, architecture, painting, sculpture, scenography, cinema and design, the Fondazione goes on facing with this complex overview and plans its activity with a glance to the new names and opportunities which can contribute to the diffusion of the visual art.
